Weight Loss Success Stories

Weight loss success stories can motivate and inspire you to achieve the success you've been looking for.

Losing weight shouldn't really be that hard, should it? Eat fewer calories than you burn, and your body will tap into the fat reserves you have in order to burn fuel. Voila, fat gone, right? Well, it's not quite that simple, but that really should do the trick.

So, why do so many people find it so hard to lose weight? With all due respect to those who have medical conditions, or are on medication that causes weight gain, and so on, medical problems are usually not the reason.

In fact, it's much simpler than that. It's often because we don't work hard enough at it. So, the "trick" to successful weight loss, then, is getting motivated enough to do what it takes. How do you get motivated?

Well, there's nothing quite like a little success to motivate you to work harder at something. That's true, even if that success belongs to someone else. It's especially true if that success belongs to more than one person. If you see that 2 or 3 or 10 or 100 people can do it, then you can too!

Another way to inspire and motivate yourself is to give of yourself in service of others. If you've been successful at something, sharing how you did that is a way to be of service to those who aspire to achieve more.

The more reasons you can come up with to do something, the more likely you are to do it. If you want to get yourself moving, give yourself more reasons to accomplish the task. Makes sense, right? But, most people don't usually actively think that way.

In the interest of helping you to work harder at weight loss and achieve your goals, let's compile weight loss success stories here for everyone to read. If you've had trouble losing weight in the past, set a goal of being able to come here and share your story in order to motivate others.

The double goal of losing weight, along with being able to share your story and help others is a double whammy of inspiration and motivation for you and for others.

whether you've lost 5 lbs., or 265 lbs., other people want to hear your story. Actually, they need to hear that others have done it. They need to know it's possible. They also need to know that others are facing the same struggles, and the different ways that people have overcome their challenges.

It also doesn't matter whether you've got another 5 lbs. to lose, or another 265 lbs. to lose. If you've lost any weight at all, no matter how much more you want to lose, tell us your story.

You can use this as a progress update if you want and come back to update us periodically. Use it to drive yourself. You can also use your story telling as a way to spark inspiration or renew your motivation for a non-weight loss related goal. Just reviewing your past accomplishments can go a long way to motivating you to do more and greater things.
