If you find yourself having trouble sticking to your diet or fitness routine, use these quotes to juice things up.

Remember, of course, that if you find yourself in a rut, take action. Taking action is a great way to change your state since it creates chemical changes in your body.

Your likelihood of taking action is often directly related to your level of motivation. So, keep your favorite quotes handy and break them out to get yourself moving.

You'll be more motivated by quotes and sayings that resonate with you in some way, so choose the ones that are most relevant, but also impact you emotionally.

Build More Muscle And Lose Fat


Want to lose fat? Build more muscle!

Famous fitness trainer Denise Austin tells us that studies show that at rest, you burn an extra 35 to 50 calories for every pound of muscle you add, because muscle burns almost twice as many calories as fat.

Denise calls this a "secret, magic weight-loss trick." Of course, it's not a secret, and there's no real magic to it. It's just the way the body works.

If you can add just five pounds of muscle, yes, I'm suggesting you should gain weight, you'll be burning anywhere from 175 to 250 additional calories per day! Automatically!

As you might imagine, weight loss quotes from Denise are plentiful and varied, but I chose this one which sums up her advice in this area:
