Talane Miedaner is an internationally recognized life coach, author, and speaker. She has been mentioned or featured in local and major magazines, television, and newspapers.

I highly recommend this book. Much of her work in Coach Yourself to Success focuses on setting boundaries and standards, and opening yourself up to possibilities that you might not have explored. Her approach seems to follow Dr. Wayne Dyer's warning to not chase success. Instead, she helps you focus on being a better you, and as a result, attracting the things that you want into your life.

Talane gives you real world stories of how her clients successfully used the tips she covers to attract success. By relating those examples, she shows you how doing those things necessary to shake yourself up, flush out the bad, and let in the good can truly change your life.

In the end, it's all about personal responsibility. Responsibility is the ability to respond, and that means taking control of your life and of course... taking action. Sometimes the kind of action we're talking about here is simply getting out of your own way!

I have applied a number of the principles in the book to my own life, and I can tell you that they work. The really good news is this: most of the recommendations are specific, and the examples really help to show you how you can actually use them.

Not every tip will apply to your situation, but unlike many other "self help" books, there's no fluff here. Like all life change, however, some of the techniques are not easy!
