How to Feed a Family
by Sharing Stories

Believe it or not, simply sharing stories can feed a family. If you're looking for a way to contribute, this sounds like a great way to do it. Country Crock will actually donate a meal to a needy family at your request, as long as you post your story.

Stories of sharing can be a great inspiration for other people, and the act of telling your story can be uplifting for you too. Now, your story can inspire others, as well as provide food to someone less fortunate at the same time. Simply tell your story on the web about a time you shared with someone, or someone shared with you, and Country Crock will donate a meal through America's Second Harvest.

According to their web site, America's Second Harvest—The Nation's Food Bank Network is the largest charitable hunger-relief organization in the United States. Serving all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico, they are a network of more than 200 member food banks and food-rescue organizations.

Each year, this network distributes nearly 2 billion pounds of donated food and grocery products through 50,000 local charitable agencies. These agencies operate over 94,000 programs including food pantries, soup kitchens, emergency shelters, after-school programs, Kids Cafes, Community Kitchens and BackPack Programs. More than 25 million low-income people in the United States, including more than 9 million children and nearly 3 million seniors, benefit from these programs.

Now, you can donate to this worthy cause by simply posting your story of sharing on the web. Here's what the Spread the Sharing web site has to say about it...

"Tell us about a time you shared with someone or someone shared with you, and we'll donate a meal to a family in need through America's Second Harvest."

So, if you'd like to make a no cost donation and feed a family by sharing stories, head on over to Spread the Sharing and post your tale of inspiration for all to see.
