Laura Hendershot is a life coach and a student of the Graduate School of Coaching. She was mentored by the founder of Coach U and the ICF (International Coaching Federation), the late Thomas Leonard.

Since Leonard is credited with creating the field of coaching itself, Hendershot has quite the credential in having been his student. One writer got to experience the results of Laura's coaching first hand. Prior to becoming a life coach, Laura Hendershot had great success as a business owner. When she was just 22, she and her partners bought a small high-end electronics company, and immediately made it a success. It eventually grew to 60 employees with $10 million in Sales.

She became the youngest board member ever on the Electronics Industries Association (EIA). Her company was written up in several magazines, including Business Week and Vanity Fair. She has appeared on local television in California, as well as on PBS on the "Nightly Business Report."

Laura was named Small Business Exporter of the Year for the SBA, and nominated "Entrepreneur of the Year" four years in a row by Ernst & Young and Merrill Lynch. She has had the honor of being invited to the White House on several occasions. She was selected to co-found and serve on the board of the International Association of Coaches.
