Using the Right Inspirational Saying in the Right Way
Using the right inspirational saying to bring about quick and lasting change in your life is a powerful tool for personal development. I have found this method to be an invaluable tool for personal growth.Tapping into inspiration is obviously one of the cornerstones of success. All great success stories start with an inspired idea. But inspiration is not just a starting point; it is a tool for continuous motivation and change. If you don’t have your own inspirational saying, a personal saying that you use to put yourself in the success frame of mind at any time you want, then you are missing out on a very effective self development tool. Whether you want to get inspired in order to overcome an immediate obstacle, or you want to be motivated every day, all day, here's a simple technique to get yourself inspired. I cannot stress enough the power for self improvement hidden in this method. I say hidden because of all of the people that I have talked to about this technique, not one of them has thought to use it. Most dismiss it completely as silly. Others, as much as they would like to, refuse to believe that such a technique would work. Either way, I have yet to find one person who recognizes it as a valid technique for self improvement and life change. And yet here I am, a changed person. I am my own proof. I will now share with you my method for using your own personal inspirational saying to change your attitude, and change your life. This is personal development on your own, and at its best. Essentially, from this point on you are going to become your own motivational coach. How does it work? First, choose a specific inspirational saying that supports your desired goal. Then, use that saying in a specific way to put yourself in a state of mind that supports your goal. We can adopt this concept and adapt it to almost any aspect of our lives that we want to make a change in. For example... for several months I used this technique to put me in the success frame of mind by the time I got to work. The results of doing this were just this side of amazing. I wanted to become the very best worker at my place of employment. The company I was working for at the time created an environment that was miserable to work in. Morale was horrible, and everyone was joining in what I call the pity party, including me. We would all say how much we hated the company, and hated our daily work. Many of us truly wanted to do a good job, but felt like we couldn't because of the environment. I was complaining about my situation all the time, but didn't feel I had the means to change it. I had begun to hate my job, and it was carrying over into the rest of my life. At some point, I made a decision. I decided that I didn't want to be that way anymore. So, here is what I did... Borrowing some techniques from Anthony Robbins' Personal Power series, I set out to change my life. Now, I knew I couldn't change the policies of the company, and I couldn't change other people. But my thinking was that if I could change the way I viewed my situation, that good things would happen for me. So, I decided to become the very best worker that I could be at my place of employment. Since I wanted to be the best employee they had, I filled my brain with inspiration. How? First, I adopted an inspirational saying that would suit my purpose. Then I adapted it so that it would accomplish my task. What inspirational saying did I adopt? Well, I wanted a simple statement that would quickly convey the meaning that I wanted to my brain. So, I chose a very simple inspirational phrase that had meaning for me, and that would make me the best at whatever I chose to do that day. Then, I adapted it to suit my situation. How? First, I didn't judge the statement. I didn't care if it was true or false. It was my tool, and tools do not have to be true or false, right? Second, I practiced saying the phrase over and over again until I was able to work myself up into a frenzy! At first, I felt kind of stupid. Ok, so I felt really stupid. I wasn't sure that this would work. Over time, however, I got used to the idea of telling myself how great I was. Then, on my way to work, I would repeat my chosen inspirational saying. I would repeat it internally at first, then a whisper, and then louder and louder until by the time I got close to work I was just about screaming it! I was so inspired and so motivated by the time I got to the door of the place that almost nothing could stop me, or bring me down. I was ready to be the best that I could be. I was ready for any challenge during the day. You could say that my attitude was hyped into condition by the use of the inspirational saying. I would walk into a meeting, pick the first person I saw, and start hammering them with positive talk. I would try to get them excited and bring their level of energy up to mine. They would just look at me like I was nuts. I am nuts, but that's not the point. All day long I'd be fired up. When I needed to, I'd repeat my inspirational saying to myself. When did I need to? Whenever I started to feel unsure about what I was doing or what was going on. So what happened as a result of all of this? Imagine being able to give yourself a 70% raise every year for ten years. That is, in effect, what I was able to do. So, even if you only earn $10,000 per year, this can work for you. What if I told you that in ten years or less, you could be earning $70,000 per year? All that and much more is possible. This very web site exists just because I was unhappy with my job and decided to do something about it. It exists because I took a seemingly silly idea of repeating an inspirational saying every day and turned it into a 700 percent increase in income. What other people think is at best self hypnosis, and at worst, mumbo jumbo, I turned into a system that produced real dollars for me... in fact, I cannot even tell you how many thousands of dollars I've earned all because I set something in motion with that technique. It is nothing short of amazing. At this point in, anytime that I feel I need to elevate my state, or do better at something, I use my saying. In fact, anytime I feel that I want to make a change in my life, or I need to confront someone, or I need the answer to a tough question, I pull out that saying and let it work for me. It’s now a trigger. It is very important for you to have your own personal inspirational saying, a seed saying that works as both an instant state changer, and a long term personal growth tool. Work to incorporate an inspirational saying into your daily routine, and amazing things will happen in your life.
